The kids and I had fun preparing for Father's Day! We surprised Dad with a complete car wash and interior detail--we even tied a big red bow around his newly clean car! (A clean car is the next best thing to a new car, right?!) He was very surprised when we pulled up to the house and he saw his car with the red bow. We also had fun making him a special breakfast comprised of a veggie omelet and whole wheat waffles! Dad also got a special dinner and his favorite dessert, homemade strawberry rhubarb pie--made with rhubarb from our very own garden. For entertainment, we played charades together as a family and all laughed at Big Mac trying to crawl! What a fun day.
